Q: Is it compulsory for a woman to cut the nails, and shave body hair after Qurbani has been done in her name? Does it have to be done on Eid day?
A: It is preferable for one doing qurbani not to cut hair and nails from the 1st Dhul Hijjah until the tenth after the animal is slaughtered. So it is not compulsory to cut nails etc on the tenth.
