Tahfīth
1) Full-time Hifz class for boys
2) Revision and Tajwīd for those who completed their Hifz
Maktab
Morning classes on the essential aspects of Dīn
* Recitation of Qur’an, short Surahs
* Elementary Fiqh, Aqaid, History
* Practicals and Du’as
Gap-year course
A short course with the aim of enriching young students with sound knowledge and Islamic ethos
Higher Islamic Studies
An intensive course designed in 2 phases, in order to cover the various Islamic disciplines
Phase One focuses primarily on Arabic language and developing an elementary understanding of the various sciences (2 years)
Phase Two is a four-year advanced study of the various disciplines which are not limited to but include: Tafsīr, ‘Ulūm al-Qur’an, Hadith, Mustalah al-Hadith, Sīrah, Fiqh, Usūl al-Fiqh, ‘Aqīdah, Tārīkh
Al-Ṣuffah Institute for Arabic and Islamic Studies is situated next to the Council of Ulama offices in Bell Rd, Parkside.
