Hadrat Moulana Abdul Hameed sb DB delivered a talk at the Verulam Jaamiah Masjid. Some of the thought provoking points mentioned are as follows:
1. Whatever is happening in the world today is part of Allaah’s takweeni plan which we cannot understand. Our duty is to hold firm to the Shariat and Sunnah.
2. Avoid talking about the new world order and what the mainstream media is saying. Talk more about Allaah.
3. We are looking for loopholes in Shariat to comply fully with government protocol whereas we were supposed to comply fully with Shariat and look for loopholes in the law.
4. We were supposed to present Islam and Muslims to the government but we are presenting the government to the Muslims.
5. The ulema are doing the work of the government by encouraging adherence to the protocols and people are following that unfortunately. We were supposed to promote 100% Deen.
6. Pandemics do not have permission from Allah to enter masjids or afflict those who frequent the masjid. Pandemics do not enter where Quraan is read like in maktabs and Hifz classes.
7. Stick to the masjid and bring others to the masjid.
Hadrat also spoke about being punctual on awwaabeen salaah and daily wazeefas.
